Fire Alarm Activation

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Earlier this afternoon the school's fire alarm system was activated. This was not a scheduled drill, students and staff were evacuated, and the Hartford Fire Department responded to the building.

Following an investigation, it was determined that there was no fire or emergency situation. The alarm was triggered by a mechanical issue with the building's fire panel system. We are working with our service vendor to identify and correct the issue to help prevent future occurrences.

I want to thank our students, faculty, and staff for their knoweldge and adherence to the school's safety protocoals and for their patience and understanding as we addressed this matter. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the district at 518-632-5222.
